Some good news, Praise the Lord!

Thank you all for your prayers over the last couple of weeks. The Lord has been so gracious to minister to us through His Spirit, His word, and His children.

This afternoon Deedra finished up her week of tests with a echocardiogram. We then met with Dr. Korlakunta to go over this and all of the other tests’ results, and the news was very encouraging!

It seems that Deedra’s heart muscle, thyroid, and pulmonary functions are all normal! Praise the Lord! This news coupled with the fact that Deedra’s high heart rates and low heart rates are not in the severe range means that at this time the doctors do not believe that they will need to do any course of treatment. As long as Deedra’s palpitations and pains are manageable there will be no need for medication and no pacemaker, praise the Lord!

Deedra will have a “stress test” on Wednesday next week and we will also visit an electrophysiologist who specializes in heart rhythms. The test and the rhythm specialist will help determine how best to monitor Deedra’s condition both for every day living as well as moving forward with the fertility treatments.

Please continue to pray for healing and that this condition does not cause further complications for quality of life or childbearing down the road. We are so thankful to the Lord for His care of Deedra.

We’ll update you soon on what this means for both movement forward in fertility treatments as well as my new job with The Porterbrook Network (which officially starts Friday!).  Thank you again for your prayers and support. God bless!
